The Spot is a brand new centre specializing in adolescent mental health, run by the Montreal Children’s Hospital. In order to provide the most comprehensive service to the centre’s beneficiaries, a multidisciplinary team works there: psychologists, social workers, psychoeducators, occupational therapists, nurses and doctors. It was therefore important to create a place that would meet everyone’s needs. Most importantly, create an environment where adolescents feel comfortable and safe.
Several team rooms have been set up. Group workshops, but also rooms for workshops with various stakeholders. Functional rooms, but also warm to the image of the young clientele. Comfortable armchairs, colorful stools, a variety of furniture decorate these different rooms.
The photos speak for themselves. You can feel the positive and calm energy these places give off for teenagers.
Style and durability
The Downtown and Element collections were chosen for their high quality manufacturing that ensures a certain durability, despite intensive use. Vinyl has been prioritized for coating, thus promoting frequent cleaning and resistant to disinfectants.
In the employee rooms, the new Nuke chair sits quietly. Easy to maintain, this chair is comfortable and versatile, combining the young and modern style of the center. Stackable, it can be stored easily for specific needs.

Giving an extra touch of style, the Fjord Collection armchairs are present at various locations at Le Spot. Modern but classic, these chairs are perfect for a relaxed discussion between patient and therapist.
For EMBLM, it was essential to collaborate in the success of this project, the cause is particularly important to us. Donations were made by the various stakeholders: EMBLM, Martin Létourneau, project account manager, and Artopex, a Quebec manufacturer. The family spirit that reigns within EMBLM allows us to accompany our clients in their projects to perfectly meet their needs and challenges.
