We are a leader in the commercial office furniture industry


We support our clients in the planning and execution of their workspace design projects. To do so, we work closely with architects, designers, and business leaders.

Through this collaborative approach, we are able to offer thoughtful, optimal solutions, inspiring concepts, and innovative, adaptable, and sustainable products.

The Birth of EMBLM

EMBLM was born from the union of MAB Profil in Québec City, Bureautique N. Maltais in Sherbrooke, Solutions Zoom in Laval, and Buromax in Trois-Rivières.

This wave of acquisitions, which began in early 2017, was a logical next step for Patrick Morissette, then owner of MAB Profil and now Chairman of the Board at EMBLM.

The new name, “EMBLM,” reflects our desire to celebrate the value of our brands and their collections. They are an integral part of the company. They represent who we are. Just as a flag is the emblem of a nation, our suppliers are the emblem of our brand.

The office furniture industry is highly competitive. To rise among the leading players, we needed not only a broader product portfolio, but also a stronger presence across the province.

At the end of 2024, the group acquired Buromax, a well-established and recognized company in the Mauricie region.

Today, EMBLM operates six business locations across Quebec: Québec City, Saint-Georges, Sherbrooke, Brossard, Laval, and Trois-Rivières.

Our Process

We act as the link between suppliers, professionals, and clients. We constantly strive to optimize our process to better meet our clients’ needs. And since every project is different, our approach is always personalized to suit each unique request.

Pre-Project Phase

The first step is to listen to and analyze your needs. At this stage, your dedicated advisor will evaluate your current workspace and inventory your existing furniture. A working document including mood boards and design inspirations will then be provided.

Planning Phase

Once the assessment is complete, we move into planning. This stage includes layout solutions, full-color 3D renderings, budget proposals, detailed plans, and project timelines.

Execution Phase

The long-awaited moment! It’s time to bring your project to life. At this point, we finalize plans, select finishes, and coordinate with the manufacturers involved to ensure everything runs smoothly during installation.
